Dermot was a renowned UK fly fisher who ran a mail order fishing supplies company from his home at Nether Wallop, operating from 1968 until 1981, when ill health caused him to sell the business to US company Orvis. In style the jacket is a classic Orvis town & country coat, made from a weighty tweed, with raglan shoulders and a corduroy collar.
