Hareline Spirit River UV-2 Seal-X Ice Dubbing, Dubbing
UV2 Seal-X Dubbing is a relatively coarse dubbing designed for larger stonefly, steelhead, streamer and saltwater patterns. This 100% multi-spectrum dubbing is great for minnows, intruders and stone fly nymphs. It is best to always use a pearl or silver Mylar under base or even basic white thread which will bounce any light back out of the pattern at a different wavelengths. Spirit River continues to lead the way in UV2 technology.

UV2 Fine & Dry Dubbing is a beautiful fine dry fly dubbing that is treated with a special UV dye. This dye enhances the UV fluorescing and reflecting properties, increasing the visibility and giving off a color spectrum more visible to fish. Great for dubbing tightly tapered bodies on dry flies down to size #28, and since it's permanently waterproof, your flies will ride high cast after cast. UV2 Fine & Dry is an excellent fly tying material to have at your bench and is available in 40 colors.

This is our favorite egg material. You can tie over 100 eggs with one pack once you get the hang of it. Simply tie in the yarn much like you do a chenille and give 2-3 wraps around your hook of choice - ours is a curved shank 1-2X strong hook. Easy as that, you've got an egg! This material gives you the bulk you want in an egg, but allows the fly to sink faster and get in the zone compared to traditional yarn eggs.
